Job Description

We are seeking dependable Valet Drivers who combine safe driving with friendly customer interaction. Valet Drivers will ensure customer satisfaction by handling vehicles responsibly and maintaining positive engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Fulfill our commitment to clients by effectively addressing requests and concerns, proactively communicating, and innovating solutions as needed.
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections before parking, documenting any notable observations.
• Clearly communicate valet service rates to customers.
• Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and safe driving protocols.
• Report accidents, safety issues, policy violations, or unusual events promptly to management.
• Maintain knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and routes to guarantee smooth transportation for clients.
• Arrive punctually for shifts, dressed in a clean and complete uniform, ready to perform duties.
• Stay in full uniform throughout each shift.
• Support management by undertaking additional tasks when assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver’s license with an up-to-date address and a driving record meeting company standards.
• Capacity to operate manual transmission vehicles is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Flexibility to cover special shifts including second and third shifts and weekends if required.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S., verified by valid documentation upon hiring.
• Effective communication skills to provide accurate information and handle customer issues professionally.
• Basic math skills for handling U.S. currency and the ability to comprehend written instructions, emails, and memos.
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions and remain composed amid changes, delays, or unexpected situations during work.

Physical Requirements

The role necessitates standing, walking, and frequent use of hands for cash and equipment handling. Occasionally, sitting, climbing, or balancing is required. The ability to lift or move objects up to 25 pounds is essential. Reasonable accommodations will be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform duties.

Compensation and Shifts

Hourly pay is $16 plus the opportunity to earn tips. Available shifts include early morning (5am, 6am, 7am), afternoon (2:30pm, 4pm), and late night (11pm).

Additional Information

Employee Referral Bonus: Current non-managerial employees at Corewell Health locations in Grand Rapids may receive a $300 bonus for referring successful full-time hires to Valet Attendant, Cashier, or Supervisor roles. This bonus is paid after the referred employee completes six months of full-time work and is subject to taxes. The referral program runs from April 14, 2026, through June 30, 2026, with SP+ reserving rights to modify or discontinue it.
