Position Overview

We are currently seeking reliable Valet Drivers to provide excellent service by safely handling and parking guests' vehicles while maintaining courteous interactions. This role is based in Houston, TX at the DoubleTree Galleria and requires adherence to company standards for safety and professionalism.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by promptly addressing client requests and resolving concerns efficiently.
• Thoroughly inspect vehicles prior to parking and document any conditions or findings.
• Clearly communicate valet pricing details to customers.
• Follow all traffic laws and safe driving protocols at all times.
• Report any incidents, safety issues, or policy violations to management immediately.
• Maintain familiarity with the local street layout, major landmarks, and highways to ensure smooth transportation experiences.
• Arrive punctually at each shift wearing a clean uniform and remain in uniform for its duration.
• Provide support to management with any additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a valid driver’s license with up-to-date address and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Capable of safely operating vehicles, including those with manual transmissions (stick shift) is preferred.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including second, third, and weekends if required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide necessary documentation upon hire.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, able to provide accurate information and handle customer concerns professionally.
• Basic arithmetic skills including reading, writing, and handling US currency; able to comprehend instructions, emails, and memos.
• Ability to follow both written and oral instructions and adjust calmly under changing or unexpected situations.

Physical Requirements

Incumbents must be able to stand, walk, and manipulate cash and equipment regularly, with occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, and lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations can be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these duties effectively.
