UX/UI Designer

About the Role

Elements Mediaworks Private Limited, a company focused on diverse marketing and brand solutions, is seeking a UX/UI Designer based in Mumbai. This role centers on enhancing user experience through in-depth understanding of the product and its audience, translating insights into coherent design solutions, and collaborating closely with developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain comprehensive understanding of the product and its users to align design with user goals.
• Chart essential user journeys from onboarding through critical interactions.
• Detect confusing steps, drop-off points, and usability challenges within user flows.
• Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final user interface layouts.
• Conduct user interviews and usability testing to extract valuable feedback.
• Enhance onboarding procedures, navigation systems, form usability, and messaging states including empty, error, and success scenarios.
• Gather and manage feedback from users and internal teams for ongoing improvement.
• Leverage product analytics and feedback data to propose design refinements.
• Ensure design consistency in colors, typography, components, and interactions.
• Create and maintain a basic design system in Figma.
• Collaborate with developers to confirm accurate implementation of designs.
• Review live application interfaces and identify design or usability discrepancies.
• Commit to continuous user experience improvements post-launch.

Candidate Profile and Eligibility

• Applicants must possess at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Ideal candidates may be Computer Science Engineering students.
• Proficient with Figma as a primary design tool.
• Solid foundational understanding of user experience principles and user-centered design approaches.
• Capable of constructing user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
• Possess strong problem-solving skills focused on user challenges.
• Good grasp of visual design aspects including spacing, typography, color application, and hierarchy.
• Comfortable engaging directly with users and incorporating their feedback.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Aptitude for working in a fast-paced, early-stage environment with adaptability to feedback and iterations.
• A formal design degree is not mandatory; curiosity, thinking ability, portfolio quality, and learning enthusiasm are prioritized.
• Bonus qualifications include experience in mobile app design, academic or personal UX research projects, knowledge of iOS and Android design standards, accessibility principles, familiarity with product analytics (Firebase, Mixpanel, PostHog), and collaboration with developers for design handoff.

Compensation and Work Conditions

• Annual salary offered ranges between ₹360,000 and ₹450,000.
• Work schedule is five days per week with a casual dress code.
• Position is full-time and onsite based in Mumbai.
• Immediate joining is preferred.
