Role Overview

We are seeking a UX Designer to craft intuitive, user-focused digital experiences for IGA Australia's platforms. This role involves collaborating with product, technology, and business units to convert customer insights into compelling user journeys, wireframes, detailed designs, and functional prototypes.

Key Responsibilities

• Create digital experiences centered on user needs to boost engagement and ease of use.
• Develop user journeys, wireframes, polished designs, and interactive prototypes.
• Perform user research and usability testing to uncover valuable insights guiding design choices.
• Maintain and evolve the IGA design system, including component libraries and UI standards.
• Work closely with Product, Technology, and Business teams to translate ideas into outstanding digital solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure fidelity of design during implementation.
• Communicate design concepts and their value clearly to stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proficient with Figma, including its prototyping capabilities and design system integration.
• Experienced in user research with the ability to transform findings into effective design strategies.
• Strong UX and UI design skills, with attention to visual aesthetics, layout, and user interaction.
• Skilled in creating wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity visual designs, and interactive prototypes.
• Well-versed in managing design systems, component libraries, and adhering to digital design best practices.
• Confident in presenting and justifying design decisions to diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Adopts a proactive, teamwork-oriented attitude and excels in dynamic, fast-moving environments.
