Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a UX Designer to create user-centered designs by conducting thorough research, analyzing user pain points, and enhancing product accessibility and usability. This contract position based in Singapore involves designing intuitive interfaces across multiple platforms, including mobile, desktop, voice, and conversational experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive user research, gather insights, and identify key user challenges.
  • Apply design heuristics and principles of information architecture to improve the accessibility and discoverability of products.
  • Create detailed, high-fidelity, and user-friendly product designs aligned with best practices.
  • Develop interfaces adapted for diverse platforms such as mobile devices, desktops, voice-activated systems, and conversational interfaces.
  • Incorporate universal design strategies to ensure products are inclusive for all users.
  • Perform usability testing to verify the effectiveness and relevance of designs.
  • Design for various scenarios while maintaining alignment with the established design system to ensure consistency.
  • Map out user journeys and convert concepts into user flows as well as low and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Present design concepts and user flow diagrams to business stakeholders and IT teams to gather feedback and ensure alignment.
  • Be responsible for identifying potential risks related to business and regulatory compliance and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Keep abreast of current industry trends, regulatory developments, emerging technologies, and associated risk factors.
  • Proactively communicate concerns and share best practices concerning risk management.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned within the scope of UX design.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
  • Have at least two years of professional experience in Interaction Design or User Experience, supported by a strong portfolio demonstrating systematic creativity and a solid grasp of UI/UX fundamentals.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge in information design, information architecture, and understanding of user psychology.
  • Show proficiency in graphic design, motion graphics, and digital art.
  • Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams and contributing to large-scale software development projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Maintain high levels of integrity, accountability, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Be proactive in improving workflows and adaptable to changing environments.
