Job description
Position Overview
Join Sodexo as a Utility Worker at the DELTA SKY CLUB in Atlanta, GA, where your role is pivotal in supporting kitchen and facility operations. This full-time onsite role requires open availability for any shift, ensuring food production and service areas are kept spotless, organized, and sanitary.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually wash dishes or operate dishwashing machines.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors.
- Dispose of trash and garbage at designated collection points.
- Clean equipment using specified chemicals to meet sanitary standards.
- Restock essential supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning agents.
- Engage in substantial walking or mobility throughout shifts that may extend beyond eight hours.
- Physically able to stand or walk for long periods, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Arrive punctually for scheduled shifts with consistent attendance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, varying according to client and business requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
- No prior related work experience is necessary.
- Basic understanding of sanitation procedures and fundamental food safety principles.
