About the Role
As a Utility Worker based at DELTA SKY CLUB - MIA, you will play a vital part in supporting kitchen and facility operations. Your role involves maintaining cleanliness, ensuring sanitation, and keeping food production and service areas well organized. This full-time position requires open availability for any shifts, with specifics to be discussed during the interview process.
Core Responsibilities
- Manually washing dishes or operating dishwashing machines for cleaning utensils.
- Sanitizing worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks thoroughly.
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning floors to maintain hygiene standards.
- Removing trash and disposing of garbage in designated areas.
- Using proper chemicals to clean equipment following sanitary guidelines.
- Restocking essential supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
- Performing considerable walking or mobility throughout shifts lasting potentially over eight hours.
- Physical tasks including reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting items up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Maintaining punctual attendance and reliable presence for scheduled shifts.
- Additional tasks may be assigned based on account-specific client needs and business requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- No previous related work experience is required.
- Basic understanding of sanitation procedures and foundational food safety concepts.
Compensation and Work Schedule
This position offers a pay rate of $20.50 per hour. Workdays and shifts require open availability, with details provided during recruitment.
