Key Responsibilities

• Identify, locate, and mark underground utility lines to prevent accidental damage during construction excavation.
• Use blueprints and detailed plans to locate cables accurately.
• Maintain and manage company equipment in line with safety and service requirements.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions including rain, snow, and wind.
• Capable of independently managing work and making sound judgments interpreting equipment readings accurately.
• Responsible for the care and control of personnel, vehicles, and equipment.
• Willing to report any accidents or incidents promptly and assist with investigations.
• Possession of a high school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in underground utility construction is advantageous.
• Familiarity with construction procedures and ability to read blueprints, quarter sections, and plat maps is essential.
• Valid driver's license and ability to acquire DOT medical certification; safe driving record required.
• Holding a Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) is a plus.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities such as bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, twisting, reaching overhead, standing for long periods, and working in confined spaces.

Compensation

The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $16 to $26.
