Job description
Position Overview
Thrift World invites a committed and diligent individual to fill the role of Utility Worker. This position is vital to supporting the operational needs of the store through various assisting responsibilities.
Primary Duties
- Help receive and sort donated goods efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the production area.
- Support production staff with their daily activities and requirements.
- Assist with loading and unloading merchandise as required.
Work Environment & Schedule
This full-time role operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, contributing to a productive and collaborative team atmosphere in a fast-paced retail environment.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a comparable position is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Enthusiastic mindset coupled with eagerness to learn and contribute.
Compensation and Benefits
A competitive hourly wage of $16 is offered alongside benefits including paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k plan options, plus a 30% employee discount.
