About the internship
Internship Overview
This opportunity seeks native Urdu speakers equipped with compatible iPhones or iPads to capture Live Photos of naturally occurring handwritten Urdu text. The collected data will support advancements in AI technologies by enhancing model training datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire handwritten Urdu material from personal and everyday environments.
- Collect items such as personal notes, reminder lists, letters, greeting cards, recipes, diaries, forms, records, and flyers.
- Ensure all collected images conform to the project standards and quality requirements.
Eligibility and Qualifications
- Native or fluent Urdu speakers currently residing in India, aged 18 or above.
- Ownership of an iPhone XR or newer model iPhone/iPad capable of capturing Live Photos.
- Ability to capture at least 50 approved images of genuine handwritten content using the device’s rear camera.
- Attention to detail to avoid submission of AI-generated or artificially created content and to conceal any personal or sensitive information in photos.
- Availability to work remotely for a 2-month duration, starting immediately between September 21 and October 26, 2026.
- Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly stipend ranging from 3000 to 7000 INR.

Additional Information and Terms
- Only submissions meeting detailed quality criteria and guidelines will count toward the required image quota.
- Participants must submit at least 50 qualified images to be eligible for payment.
