Internship Overview
This internship seeks Kannada-speaking individuals to gather Live Photos featuring naturally occurring handwritten Kannada text using eligible iPhone or iPad devices. The collected images will contribute to enhancing AI and language technology systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Photograph handwritten Kannada text from everyday contexts.
- Capture personal notes, reminders, and handwritten lists.
- Document handwritten letters, greeting cards, and messages.
- Photograph handwritten recipes and cooking instructions.
- Collect handwritten diary and journal entries.
- Capture handwritten forms, records, and tabular data.
- Photograph flyers, notices, and other handwritten materials naturally available.
- Ensure all captured images align with project rules and quality standards.
Applicant Eligibility
- Applicants must be native or fluent Kannada speakers.
- Must reside currently in India.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have access to an eligible iPhone XR or newer iPhone/iPad supporting Live Photo capture via the rear camera.
- Should be willing and able to submit at least 50 approved images.
- All handwritten content must be authentic and organically found; no artificial or AI-generated materials are allowed.
- Confidential or sensitive data in images must be obscured or removed prior to submission.
