Job description
Job Location and Work Schedule
This full-time position is based in Mississauga, Ontario, at the major intersection of Dundas and Dixie. Working hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with weekend work as needed.
Compensation
The pay rate ranges between $18 and $22 per hour, depending on the applicant's experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Apply padding and fabric to furniture frames utilizing stitching, staples, tacks, or adhesives.
- Create soft furnishings such as cushions to complement upholstery work.
- Incorporate decorative elements including piping, fringing, and buttons into furniture pieces.
- Strip outdated upholstery and perform frame repairs prior to reupholstering.
Experience Requirements
Candidates must have a minimum of one year of prior experience in upholstery work.
