Role Overview
Join Australia's largest UKG practice, part of Deloitte's Human Capital division, as a UKG Specialist Lead. This role involves contributing to complex workforce transformation initiatives with leading Australian organisations across diverse sectors such as health, retail, supply chain, hospitality, and the public sector. The position emphasizes in-person collaboration with teams and clients, while offering flexibility for work-life balance.
About The Team
Deloitte's UKG practice boasts over 90 specialists nationwide, delivering comprehensive workforce technology solutions to optimise employee management, scheduling, and support. The team handles extensive UKG implementations that reshape organisational operations, supported by experts in timekeeping, advanced scheduling, forecasting, analytics, reporting, and system integrations. You will join a vibrant community focused on collaboration, continual learning, and knowledge sharing.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply in-depth expertise in UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) products to implement projects within dedicated teams.
- Design and architect UKG Pro WFM solutions ensuring seamless integration and alignment with client environments.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to colleagues, enhancing their solution knowledge and capabilities.
- Lead client workshops involving requirement analysis, software configuration, problem resolution, and ongoing functional consulting.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge through continuous training and certification maintenance.
- Focus on delivering customer-centric solutions by considering optimal functionality usage, user experience, and integration complexities.
- Collaborate with the WFM consulting team to implement and advise on UKG (Kronos) software aligned with project timelines.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has a strong interest in the intersection of HR, payroll, and workforce management technologies, combining deep technical knowledge with client-facing consulting capabilities.
- Extensive experience as a senior consultant or client within UKG Pro Workforce Management.
- Ability to interpret and formalise business requirements from a functional or business analyst perspective.
- Specialist understanding of UKG Pro WFM areas such as time and attendance, optimised rostering, forecasting, or activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client and team relationships.
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making talents.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Detail-oriented approach to ensure quality and accuracy in deliverables.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, HR, IT or related disciplines are advantageous.
