About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Designer to spearhead design initiatives at our Sydney office. This role involves creating engaging and user-friendly experiences across our digital platforms, with a particular emphasis on mobile apps tailored for the Australian market.

Joining our Product Design team, you will contribute to the strategic direction, visual identity, and overall development of our product. Collaboration will be key as you work with an international group of talented designers to refine and expand our global offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of our global sports betting product with a specialized focus on Australia.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders in Australia to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Innovate by developing and implementing high-fidelity concepts that consider all platforms and user scenarios.
  • Ensure consistency by adhering to brand guidelines and style guides across all design outputs.
  • Collaborate with developers to design and prototype functional, user-centric interfaces.
  • Effectively communicate design ideas and rationale to various stakeholders.
  • Adapt positively to feedback, evolving ideas, and shifting requirements to foster ongoing innovation.
  • Facilitate strong communication and relationships with global teams to maintain efficiency and cohesion.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Extensive commercial experience in web and app product design backed by a strong visual portfolio, including sophisticated graphic work.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, and Figma or equivalent tools.
  • Solid grasp of design principles like typography, layout, and user psychology.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development concepts.
  • Keen attention to detail and a dedication to delivering high-quality outcomes while managing multiple projects.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration in both physical and virtual environments.
  • Demonstrated creativity in ideation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational capabilities to prioritize and perform under tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with global brands is preferred.
