Job Overview
Talkgenie AI is looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join our creative design team in New York. This full-time role requires 2 or more years of experience crafting visually compelling and user-focused interface designs for both web and mobile environments. You will play a vital role in enhancing user satisfaction and engagement by developing intuitive user experiences based on a deep understanding of design principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Design appealing and user-friendly interfaces for various platforms including web and mobile.
- Conduct comprehensive user research to identify user behaviors, needs, and challenges.
- Create detailed user personas, customer journey maps, and wireframes to guide design strategies.
- Develop high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts effectively.
- Work collaboratively with development teams to ensure precise implementation of designs.
- Perform usability tests and revise designs in response to user feedback.
- Maintain and enhance the organization's design system and component library to ensure consistency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience focused on UI/UX design.
- Strong proficiency with contemporary design software such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Evidence of skills through a compelling UI/UX design portfolio.
- Solid understanding of design fundamentals including typography, color theory, and layout.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and a mobile-first mindset.
- Experience using prototyping tools and conducting user testing protocols.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
