About the Position
Based at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand, this fixed-term role lasting until 31 October 2027 involves working 37.5 hours per week onsite. The position offers four weeks of annual leave plus five university holidays and includes generous employer superannuation contributions of up to 6.75% for appointments longer than nine months.
Role Summary
As a UC Online Enrolment Support professional, you will actively assist prospective students interested in UC Online | Tuihono programmes. You will provide detailed guidance through the application and enrolment processes, clarify admission criteria and academic pathways, and ensure an outstanding customer experience.
This role requires collaboration with various teams including faculties, marketing, academic services, and the learner experience group to enhance enrolment rates and support outreach efforts. You will manage accurate enrolment records and seek ways to improve the learner journey from initial inquiry to successful enrolment.
Candidate Profile
- At least three years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in a similar context.
- Proven ability to juggle competing tasks, maintain precise documentation, and meet deadlines.
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Competence in interpreting and clearly communicating complex policies and procedures.
- Experience using digital platforms, databases, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems to facilitate administrative duties.
- Experience working with tertiary students is advantageous.
- Familiarity with university regulations and policy application is a plus.
- Values alignment with the organization’s culture, fostering a positive and inclusive work setting.
Team Environment
You will be part of UC Online | Tuihono, collaborating closely with the Enrolment Advisor, Marketing Automation Specialist, Learner Experience team, faculty members, and other academic and marketing personnel to smooth the transition into online study.
