Job description

Role Overview

Seeking a skilled UAV Pilot responsible for conducting both ground and flight activities to sustain fleet serviceability and enhance unmanned aerial system (UAS) capabilities while adhering to operational commitments and regulatory requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Execute non-operational ground and flight activities such as Ground Testing (GT), Test Training (TT), Flight Testing (FT), simulator training, and equipment testing to validate system performance and maintain fleet readiness.
  • Carry out internal and external UAS flight operations following approved procedures, supporting organizational undertakings including national and international deployments, exercises, customer demonstrations, and operational missions.
  • Maintain operational proficiency by completing prescribed flight hours, simulator sessions, recurrent training, and competency checks to ensure continuous readiness and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Assist with varied operations tasks encompassing static displays, flight demonstrations, customer evaluations, and special assignments intended to showcase company capabilities and achieve organizational goals.
  • Work toward fulfilling ADASI's Pilot in Command (PIC) minimum qualification requirements to advance professional development, increase responsibility in operations, and broaden deployment scopes.
  • Manage and update the Operations Equipment Status System by monitoring equipment availability, serviceability, and readiness; provide precise status updates to support operational planning and resource management.
  • Contribute to the creation, evaluation, and ongoing refinement of local operating procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and operational documents to ensure regulatory compliance, mitigate risks, and uphold national and international aviation standards.
  • Engage in development-related ground and flight activities, including system assessment, testing, validation, and capability improvements to enhance UAS platforms' operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure strict compliance with aviation safety standards, company policies, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) documentation, and relevant civil and military aviation regulations, maintaining high professionalism and flight safety.
  • Collaborate closely with pilots, maintenance teams, engineers, mission planners, air traffic controllers, and other stakeholders to guarantee the safe and efficient accomplishment of all assigned operational and developmental tasks.
