UAT Test Analyst - Banking Sector

About the Role

Adecco is collaborating with a prominent global banking institution to recruit a UAT Test Analyst for a 12-month contract located in Changi Business Park, Singapore. We are looking to fill three positions for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and design detailed test strategies and scenarios aligned with acceptance criteria, including UI, functional, security, regression, error, and negative case testing, following advanced JB scripting standards.
• Create reusable test cases and assets ensuring traceability between business requirements and test coverage.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts adhering to framework coding standards across web and mobile platforms.
• Execute high-quality test cases and ensure test artifacts are properly documented in JIRA; manage defect tracking and resolution through collaboration with technology partners.
• Maintain JIRA data hygiene for reusability, consistency, and compliance audits.
• Support daily test management reports, attend stand-ups, lead defect closure initiatives, and assist in demos and clarification sessions.
• Monitor system downtime and maintain regression test packs by updating with new test cases and retiring irrelevant ones.
• Document live verification test scenarios and review automation scripts; prepare training materials to share product knowledge.
• Participate actively in live deployments and address post-production issues through investigation, testing, and deployment of fixes.
• Enhance task efficiency by utilizing QA tools, including JIRA assistance and internal SharePoint QA tooling; provide ongoing feedback to Product Owners and teams for continuous best practice improvements.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in testing web and mobile applications in the banking sector.
• Strong analytical abilities to translate complex requirements into comprehensive end-to-end test scenarios and cases.
• Working knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies and familiarity with the entire software testing life cycle, covering manual and automated testing.
• Experience participating in Agile project teams within banking environments and hands-on expertise with JBehave.
• Basic understanding of Java and VB scripting is advantageous.
• Proficiency with quality assurance tools such as JIRA and Confluence is mandatory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders across multiple teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player with strong organizational skills and capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Resilient under pressure and adaptable to changing project requirements; quick learner who takes initiative.
• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and procedures.
• Ability to efficiently handle multiple projects and tasks concurrently.

Additional Information

This is a contract role lasting 12 months, based onsite at Changi Business Park. There are three available positions. Candidates with experience in banking project environments and test automation are preferred. The role demands strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
