About the Role
We are seeking a skilled TypeScript Developer to join our team remotely. This full-time position involves creating well-structured, maintainable applications throughout our technology stack. The role emphasizes utilizing TypeScript's advanced features such as strict typing, modern abstractions, and state-of-the-art tooling to deliver dependable software efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain TypeScript-based applications using Node.js and frontend frameworks like React or Vue.
- Architect well-defined APIs, reusable components, and shared libraries with proper type safety.
- Refactor and upgrade existing JavaScript codebases to TypeScript as needed.
- Produce clean, thoroughly tested code and participate actively in peer code reviews.
- Identify and fix bugs across different layers of the stack.
- Enhance engineering workflows, tooling setups, and coding standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least two years of experience delivering production-quality TypeScript solutions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of TypeScript's type system including generics and conditional types.
- Proficiency in Node.js along with familiarity in modern frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.
- Experience working with build tools like Vite, esbuild, Webpack, and handling monorepo architectures.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment practices.
- Comfortable using Git and engaging in code review-driven software development.
