Role Overview
The Finance team at Revolut drives business growth and strategic insights through clear financial analysis and risk management. The Treasury Manager position is based in New Zealand, supporting local treasury functions such as managing liquidity, market risk, wholesale credit, and capital adequacy.
This role involves crafting and maintaining financial models and frameworks, offering treasury analysis on market initiatives, and making critical financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full lifecycle liquidity, capital, and market risk management specific to New Zealand.
- Design and implement comprehensive treasury management frameworks.
- Assist in treasury-related regulatory reporting obligations.
- Analyze liquidity flows and associated risks, while developing forecasting models and methodologies.
- Advise and support the business during new feature launches, focusing on capital and liquidity considerations.
- Maintain effective relationships with banking partners.
- Stay current with financial regulatory requirements and compliance in New Zealand.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- At least one year of experience supporting end-to-end treasury processes and controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or related disciplines.
- Previous experience as a Treasury Analyst within banking or financial services.
- Strong understanding of Reserve Bank of New Zealand regulations and local financial operations.
- Excellent analytical abilities with a data-centric approach.
- Capacity to comprehend and systematically address complex financial concepts.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of data analysis tools, particularly SQL.
- Completion of CFA Programme Level 1 or higher.
- Accreditation from New Zealand Financial Markets Association (NZFMA).
