Treasury Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a Treasury Accountant based in Jeddah with robust experience in treasury and finance operations. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline and bring 3-4 years of experience within treasury or finance sectors. Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365, and proficient Excel capabilities are essential.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cash balances across several banking institutions and conduct bank reconciliations.
• Manage tracking of bank-related facilities including loans, letters of credit (LCs), and letters of guarantee (LGs).
• Ensure collection processes are well monitored and daily deposits from branches are accurately reconciled.
• Prepare payment timetables alongside continual weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
• Perform variance analysis comparing cash flow forecasts to actual outcomes.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams to enhance cash flow and working capital management.
• Oversee collection monitoring and guarantee precise posting within the ERP system.
• Administer credit, fleet, and property insurance aspects including renewals, negotiation activities, and claim management.
• Identify and log financial and operational risks while keeping the risk register updated.
• Generate detailed reports addressing cash position, cash flow, collections status, bank facility utilization, insurance matters, and risk oversight.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Three to four years of professional experience in treasury or finance roles.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, with preference given to Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Sound knowledge of treasury functions, cash management techniques, and banking operations.
• Excellent analytical capabilities combined with strong communication and effective time management skills.
