Company Overview
YAOWU NEXUS MOBILITY TANZANIA LIMITED is seeking a reliable Transportation Driver to join their team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out transportation duties as per dispatch instructions, ensuring timely arrival for loading and unloading tasks.
- Perform thorough vehicle inspections before departure; immediately report any faults to the vehicle captain and refrain from operating faulty vehicles on public roads.
- Adhere strictly to safety regulations, including weight limits and designated routes, avoiding unauthorized overloading or route deviations.
- Maintain the proper handling of waybills and all transport-related documentation; return receipts promptly after completing deliveries.
- Keep the vehicle well-maintained and clean; report any accidents or breakdowns immediately and preserve the incident scene.
- Secure all vehicle tools appropriately; the private resale of fuel or vehicle parts is strictly forbidden.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Possess a valid Tanzanian Class E driver’s license authorized for semi-trailer articulated trucks; Class C or D licenses are not accepted.
- Hold a current LATRA Commercial Driver’s License.
- Present a valid medical examination certificate and NIDA identification card.
- Have a minimum of two years’ actual driving experience with semi-trailers or heavy-duty tractors; experience in long-distance transportation, especially within mining areas, is advantageous.
- Applicants must have family obligations, specifically with children, located in the area.
