Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator to join our team located in Acacia Ridge, Queensland. This position involves overseeing the coordination of equipment transport across Queensland and New South Wales, ensuring timely, safe, and efficient delivery and collection operations. Collaboration with customers, transport service providers, and internal teams is key to maintaining smooth transport operations and an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage transport operations throughout Queensland and New South Wales territories.
  • Plan and schedule daily equipment delivery and collection activities.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, external transport providers, and internal departments.
  • Engage and coordinate with third-party transport suppliers and secure transport quotes.
  • Generate necessary transport documentation and manage purchase order processes.
  • Oversee transport schedules and provide regular updates on deliveries.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance transport efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in roles such as Transport Coordinator or Logistics Coordinator.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication capabilities, with skill in handling multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail complemented by proficient administrative skills.
  • A customer-centric mindset combined with effective problem-solving skills.
  • Background or experience in transport, logistics, or equipment hire sectors is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary up to $85,000 per annum plus superannuation, based on experience.
  • Standard 38-hour workweek, Monday to Friday.
  • Shift rotation between 7:00am–3:00pm and 9:00am–5:00pm.
