Transcriptionist

Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Transcriptionist to accurately convert audio and video content into written text. This fully remote, full-time position requires attention to detail, excellent typing skills, and adherence to client formatting standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Transcribe audio and video recordings into precise written documents.
• Review and correct AI-generated transcripts to ensure accuracy and correct speaker identification.
• Format transcripts based on client-specific style guides and templates.
• Identify and flag unclear audio segments, technical jargon, and proper names for further review.
• Consistently meet daily deadlines while upholding quality standards.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all transcription content.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in transcription, captioning, or related fields.
• Typing speed exceeding 70 words per minute with high accuracy.
• Strong command of written English, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Experience using transcription software such as Express Scribe, Otter, Rev, or oTranscribe.
• Ability to concentrate for extended periods during lengthy audio sessions.
• Comfortable managing sensitive or confidential information responsibly.
