Role Summary
The Training & Development Officer will support operational teams to achieve high-quality training and development outcomes. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure training initiatives align with both organizational and individual needs. The position also includes researching emerging workplace learning methods and supporting external training providers as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and assess training solutions and workplace assessment processes.
- Deliver customized adult training programs employing diverse delivery methods within a complex organization with competing priorities.
- Develop digital learning content and resources using platforms such as Litmos LMS and Articulate Storyline 360.
- Evaluate training effectiveness against organizational goals and adapt programs based on stakeholder feedback and new technologies.
- Create training plans, documentation, and monitor compliance targets.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, managing relationships and leading project teams collaboratively.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in training design, delivery, and evaluation in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of vocational education requirements and blended learning methodologies.
- Proficient in Articulate Storyline 360, Litmos LMS, video creation and editing tools such as Rise 360, Peek 360, Studio 360, and Microsoft Clipchamp.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite at an advanced level.
- Cert IV in Training and Workplace Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent with instructional design experience preferred.
- Prior work in a Registered Training Organisation including student administration and e-learning database management is beneficial.
- Qualifications in learning and development, education, or organizational development are advantageous.
- Current driver's license required to travel to operational sites.
