About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for caring and motivated individuals to begin their career as Trainee Optical Assistants. We value enthusiasm and a strong work ethic over prior experience or extensive qualifications. As a Trainee Optical Assistant, you will be warmly welcoming customers, assisting them effectively, and gaining practical knowledge supported by experienced Opticians and Technicians. Our Wilton-based store provides excellent career progression opportunities within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers as they enter the store
- Scheduling appointments for eye examinations
- Conducting preliminary patient screenings
- Offering advice on eyewear styles
- Accurately measuring eyeglass frames
- Handling customer phone calls
Additional Information
- Full-time position with 37.5 working hours per week
- Essential weekend and late-night shifts
- Competitive hourly wage of €14.15
