Overview
Join the team of Scotland's foremost provider of traffic management services based in Bonnybridge FK4 2AQ. The role of Traffic Management Operative involves managing and directing traffic safely on highways and construction sites, contributing to our people-first workplace culture and proactive safety approach.
Work Schedule
We offer three flexible shift schedules to accommodate personal and professional balance: (1) 12 consecutive working days followed by 2 days off including a weekend, (2) 6 days working followed by 1 day off, or (3) part-time shifts spread over four days, with patterns from Saturday to Tuesday or Thursday to Sunday. Additional openings exist for high-speed operatives requiring a 12AB Lantra qualification with night shifts involved.
Responsibilities
- Implementing and maintaining traffic management systems effectively on site.
- Safely directing vehicles during roadworks, events, and emergency situations.
- Liaising with team members and clients to ensure seamless project progression.
- Embracing and promoting a positive organizational culture and safety standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Eligibility to legally work in the UK.
- Availability and willingness to work under the offered shift patterns.
- Possession of a full UK driving license held for over 10 months with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
- Residency within 40 minutes driving distance from the depot.
- Preferably holding traffic management qualifications such as Lantra 12AB, 12D M1/M2, or Unit 2, though not mandatory.
