Our teams work collaboratively across Traffic Management, Logistics, Transportation, Fleet Operations, Customer Support, and Operations to ensure seamless traffic coordination and efficient vehicle and delivery movements.
The Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Traffic Management Officer to assist in coordinating traffic, overseeing transportation activities, and maintaining safe, efficient workflows throughout the organization. This role is an excellent entry point for professionals in traffic management, transportation, logistics, or operations aspiring to advance their careers in an international, fully remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily traffic and transportation operations.
- Coordinate the movement of vehicles and manage operational schedules.
- Collaborate with teams in Traffic Management, Logistics, Transportation, Fleet Operations, Customer Support, and Operations.
- Monitor and report on transportation activities and operational updates.
- Assist with route coordination and traffic planning projects.
- Track operational KPIs and assess transportation performance.
- Maintain documentation such as traffic records and reports.
- Communicate with drivers, dispatch units, and internal parties as needed.
- Resolve common issues related to traffic and scheduling.
- Support the reporting of incidents and maintain traffic-related documentation.
- Organize operational records and manage documentation control procedures.
- Contribute to transportation process improvement efforts.
- Encourage safety and efficiency in all traffic management tasks.
- Assist on logistics and fleet projects across departments.
- Stay updated on best practices in traffic management and transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferable in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Business Administration or similar fields.
- Between 1 to 3 years’ experience in traffic management, transportation, logistics, fleet operations, or related areas is advantageous.
- Sound knowledge of traffic coordination and transportation operations.
- Strong organizational skills coupled with effective communication abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and capability to solve problems.
- Proficient verbal and written English communication skills.
- Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), GPS tracking, ERP tools, Excel, or Microsoft Office is beneficial.
- Familiarity with dispatch coordination, route planning, or traffic monitoring is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and with international teams.
- Experience with UAE or GCC transportation sectors is helpful but not required.
- Transportation or logistics certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
