Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Traffic Head to oversee and coordinate truck logistics for full truckload (FTL) and over-dimensional cargo (ODC) shipments originating from Mumbai to various locations across India.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and arrange trucks ranging from 14 feet to 40 feet for FTL and ODC transport requirements throughout India, starting from Mumbai.
- Communicate with brokers and fleet owners to obtain competitive freight rates.
- Prepare cost estimations for shipments, book vehicles accordingly, and negotiate hire terms to secure optimal contracts.
- Manage the creation of load receipts (LR) and verify e-way bills for compliance.
- Conduct daily vehicle tracking to ensure timely movements and follow up for proof of delivery (POD).
Candidate Profile
- Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience handling FTL and ODC transportation operations.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
