Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Traffic Controllers to join a prominent automotive company based in Coleshill, Birmingham. This full-time permanent role offers long-term employment stability and requires candidates who are confident, proactive, and skilled in managing vehicle movements effectively within a busy site environment.
Working Hours
- Morning shift: 05:30 – 14:00
- Afternoon shift: 13:30 – 22:00
- Night shift: 18:00 – 06:00
Key Responsibilities
- Safely control and coordinate vehicle movements across the site.
- Oversee traffic flow within a busy automotive location.
- Engage in communication with drivers, customers, and internal personnel.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly using sound judgment.
- Spot potential hazards and take preventative measures to ensure safety.
Required Experience and Skills
- Prior experience as a Traffic Controller, Traffic Marshal, or Vehicle Movement Controller is mandatory.
- Proven ability to manage vehicle operations in a fast-paced setting.
- Competent in interacting confidently with drivers and clients daily.
- Strong verbal communication skills with capacity to convey concise instructions.
- Ability to make swift decisions and maintain composure under stress.
- Dependable, proactive, and committed to upholding safety standards.
Compensation and Benefits
- Permanent contract with full-time hours.
- Annual salary ranging between £28,500 and £33,000.
