Role Overview
As a member of the Trade Counter team located at Papanui, you will support plumbers and tradespeople in acquiring the necessary materials for their building and renovation projects, alongside tasks critical to branch operations.
Daily Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service and accurate product guidance.
- Conduct regular deliveries using company vehicles.
- Provide quotes both face-to-face and via telephone.
- Handle order picking, packing, and manage stock control.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe branch environment.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in retail sales or customer service, comfortable in assisting customers both in-person and over the phone.
- Capable of order picking, merchandising shop floor displays, and ensuring accurate product information.
- Technologically proficient and adaptable to new digital systems.
- Holds a clean, valid driver's license and availability to work flexible shifts including weekends.
- Motivated to grow professionally within the branch, wider company network or head office.
