About the Opportunity

Thiess invites applications for the role of Tool Storeperson based at Iron Bridge, operating on a 14/7 roster. This role reports directly to the Planning and Warehouse Supervisor and involves collaborative efforts to deliver excellent operational outcomes.

Role Responsibilities

• Oversee tool store activities with keen knowledge of tooling inspection and calibration standards.
• Manage tooling and assets utilizing the WASP asset management system effectively.
• Ensure compliance with inspection, testing, and tagging protocols for lifting, working-at-heights, and electrical tools.
• Input SOS sample data accurately within the Oil Commander system.
• Maintain inventory and restock workshop consumables as required.
• Arrange and coordinate repairs, servicing, and calibration for tools.
• Liaise with third-party providers to oversee collection of general and hydrocarbon waste.
• Possess deep understanding of warehousing and logistics in mining environments.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and time management abilities.
• Apply strong problem-solving techniques to address stakeholder concerns and business challenges.
• Utilize JDE software and maintain proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Hold a valid Forklift High Risk licence.
