Role Overview

We are seeking a Toolroom Technician to join a busy manufacturing firm located in the B64 area. This role is ideal for someone with a technical mindset eager to work in an active toolroom environment fabricating precision tooling necessary for production processes.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare machining cutters for use on production machinery.
• Assemble cutter blocks following specifications.
• Create custom cutters based on engineering plans and drawings.
• Operate workshop machinery and tooling equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensure all tooling work meets high accuracy and quality standards.
• Conduct quality inspections on completed tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace.
• Collaborate with production and toolroom teams as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Background in toolroom operations, engineering, machining, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
• Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical plans.
• Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to tasks.
