Job description

Role Overview

As a Title Reader based in New York, your primary responsibility will be to scrutinize public records and analyze property titles to uncover any existing conditions or restrictions. This role demands thorough research skills and accuracy to assist in title clearance processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carefully examine property abstracts
  • Review property surveys
  • Draft precise metes and bounds property descriptions
  • Support resolution of title-related issues
  • Prepare title commitments utilizing advanced proprietary software
  • Fulfill additional tasks assigned by management
  • Demonstrate leadership within the organization

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Possession of a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of two years of experience specifically in title reading and clearance within New York
  • Strong organizational capabilities with the aptitude to manage multiple assignments and adhere to deadlines effectively
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Proven track record in customer service
  • Proficiency with personal computers, Microsoft Office suite, and standard office equipment

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000 annually, calibrated to skills and experience
