Tile Mason

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Tile Mason to join our construction team. The role involves installing various types of tiles such as ceramic, porcelain, marble, and granite on floors and walls across different areas including bathrooms and kitchens. You will be expected to follow design layouts, prepare surfaces adequately, and ensure high-quality finishes according to project standards.

Responsibilities

• Install ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, and other tiles on floors and walls.
• Work on bathroom, kitchen, and other designated surfaces requiring tiling.
• Interpret basic drawings, layouts, and measurements accurately.
• Prepare and level surfaces before tile installation.
• Cut and shape tiles effectively using hand and power tools.
• Apply adhesive, cement, and grout for tile setting.
• Ensure tiles are aligned, spaced, and levelled properly and finished neatly.
• Repair and replace damaged or uneven tiles as needed.
• Adhere strictly to project quality standards and safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of tools and work areas.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of demonstrated experience as a Tile Mason.
• Strong knowledge of tile installation processes and finishing techniques.
• Proficient in cutting, levelling, grouting, and finalizing tiles.
• Ability to read and understand basic measurements and layouts.
• Physically capable and willing to work in construction environments.
