About Asfary
Asfary is an online travel marketplace headquartered in Qatar, specializing in airline tickets, hotels, and various travel services. It caters primarily to VVIP, corporate, and leisure travelers across the region. Operated by Safe Flight Solutions L.L.C., an IATA-accredited group with more than ten years of experience in aviation and travel, Asfary is expanding its outbound travel offerings throughout the GCC and Southeast Asia.
Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Ticketing Executive to oversee the complete flight ticketing process, including fare sourcing, GDS bookings, reissues, refunds, and client service. You will serve as the technical core of our travel operations, ensuring bookings are accurate, competitively priced, and timely.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and issue airline tickets using the Amadeus GDS by applying precise fare rules, routing criteria, and class of service.
- Manage ticket reissues, revalidations, refund processing, and schedule change handling, whether voluntary or involuntary.
- Conduct fare comparisons and offer multiple routing and fare alternatives to clients and corporate customers.
- Work closely with airlines to resolve complex fare issues, disputes, and special requests.
- Maintain meticulous records of Passenger Name Records (PNRs), ticket numbers, and cost analytics for internal use.
- Deliver high-accuracy and prompt service for corporate and VIP travel bookings.
- Keep abreast of current fare rules, airline policies, and updates to the GDS systems.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of practical ticketing experience within travel agencies, airlines, or a GDS environment.
- Mandatory certification in IATA GDS Fares and Ticketing.
- Proficiency with Amadeus; familiarity with other GDS platforms is advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of fare construction, routing, and pricing for complex itineraries.
- Strong attention to detail combined with the capacity to perform well under time constraints.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with additional languages considered a plus.
- Experience in managing corporate and VIP travel accounts is preferred.
