Job description
Role Overview
Join Ardene as a Third Key Holder, Visual, where you'll lead visual merchandising and marketing efforts while managing daily store functions in collaboration with management. You will also take charge of store operations in the absence of team leaders, ensuring a smooth and efficient retail experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage store operations including opening/closing procedures, maintaining cleanliness, restocking merchandise, providing excellent customer service, and supervising the team.
- Create an inviting atmosphere by greeting, acknowledging, and assisting customers, demonstrating thorough product knowledge.
- Handle purchase transactions at the register accurately and efficiently.
- Follow all company policies and support the Store Manager in enforcing standards as outlined in the employee manual.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least one year of retail experience.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Exceptional sales and customer service skills.
- Strong abilities in time management and prioritization.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of delegating tasks and demonstrating ownership.
- Leadership skills that foster a positive and inclusive team environment.
Physical and Availability Requirements
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and use ladders when necessary.
- Capability to move, lift, and handle merchandise boxes and store fixtures weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, and weekends.
Compensation and Additional Information
The salary range for this position is from $18.45 to $18.95 per hour. Note that Ardene complies with minimum wage laws; however, it may take up to three months after a wage increase to update all job descriptions accordingly.
