Role Summary
We are seeking a driven Territory Sales Manager based in Hastings, New Zealand. This individual will engage with retail customers, farmers, consultants, contractors, and other key stakeholders, providing technical guidance on cropping, pasture renewal, and the optimal use of Agricom's cultivars.
Key Responsibilities
- Boost sales and reach targets within the region.
- Foster strong partnerships with farmers, retailers, and industry players.
- Deliver technical advice, conduct training, and offer support on Agricom’s product range.
- Set up and assess forage trials and demonstration plots.
- Contribute technical insights to marketing efforts and regional strategies.
- Represent Agricom at agricultural events such as field days and conferences.
- Provide outstanding customer service while uncovering new business prospects.
- Work collaboratively with major industry organizations to enhance Agricom’s market standing.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in agricultural sales, agronomy, or related discipline.
- Comprehensive knowledge of pastoral farming systems.
- Strong communication skills with ability to build relationships.
- Commercially driven with a track record of meeting targets.
- Genuine enthusiasm for assisting farmers and supporting their farm success.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of farm operations, and practical farm experience or education, positioning themselves as a trusted advisor and sales collaborator.
