Role Overview
Within the Dexcom Territory Business Manager (TBM) team in New Zealand, you will play a pivotal role in promoting Dexcom products, driving sales growth, and nurturing relationships within the diabetes healthcare sector. The position offers an engaging and innovative environment with a goal-oriented team committed to making a positive impact on diabetes management.
Key Responsibilities
- Influence healthcare professionals to prescribe Dexcom solutions by delivering education and representing the brand at trade shows and community events.
- Manage your assigned territory efficiently, meet or surpass sales targets, and optimize travel and business-related expenses.
- Provide support to colleagues through coaching, mentoring, and administrative duties to foster teamwork and achieve shared objectives.
- Lead training programs, assist the Professional Education Team, and champion advocacy efforts to boost Dexcom’s market presence and impact.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven success in medical sales with exceptional customer service and a results-focused approach.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a capacity for innovation to drive business expansion.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, along with advanced IT skills and experience within diabetes medical sales.
- Excellent presentation, leadership, emotional intelligence, and client-centric skills.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced and evolving environment, demonstrating adaptability, resilience, and a passion for attaining goals.
Education and Experience
- At least three years of relevant experience, ideally in diabetes or medical device sales.
- A healthcare or science-related educational background with a record of strong sales performance.
- Possession of a current driver’s license and a valid working with children check.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings when necessary.
- Authorization to work without restrictions in New Zealand.
Travel Requirements
This role involves substantial domestic travel, ranging from 50% to 80%, to support sales activities.
