Role Overview
The Termite Technician role involves delivering high-quality pest control services for residential and commercial clients using Integrated Pest Management (IPM). This full-time, hourly position provides technicians with a company vehicle and numerous benefits.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and determine prescribed termite treatments using inspection graphs and specification sheets.
- Prepare treatment sites by removing debris as required.
- Apply various wood-destroying organism treatments, including installation of termite bait stations (Sentricon) using augers and digging tools.
- Perform trenching and apply liquid treatments around exterior or crawl space perimeters.
- Drill and treat voids or blocks in crawl spaces and structures with liquid applications.
- Spray treatment applications to affected areas as necessary.
- Maintain professionalism and build lasting relationships with customers by explaining solutions clearly and collecting service payments.
- Ensure company vehicle and equipment remain in proper working condition at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Must be able to pass and retain any state-required licensing or certification exams.
- Willingness to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- No prior experience required; training is provided for the right candidate.
