About the Position
Join DSV, a global leader in transport and logistics, at our Lahr location as a Terminal Operator (m/f/d). This is a full-time, onsite role within the Schenker Deutschland AG (Road) division.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading trucks, swap bodies, and semi-trailers.
- Inspecting incoming goods for completeness and quality.
- Ensuring proper and timely loading procedures.
- Adhering strictly to load securing regulations.
- Operating internal scanning technology.
- Using warehouse forklifts effectively.
- Maintaining orderliness and cleanliness within the warehouse.
Requirements
- Prior experience in warehouse operations is preferred.
- Possession of a forklift license and experience with reach trucks is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Basic proficiency in German language.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including early, late, and night shifts.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Understanding the importance of accurate and timely loading procedures.
