Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking motivated and energetic individuals to play a key role in expanding sales of Electrical Projects by managing tender estimation and related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze tender documents, including drawings and project schedules.
- Issue enquiry requests to suppliers and manufacturers.
- Perform comparative analyses of supplier quotations.
- Negotiate with suppliers on technical specifications and commercial terms.
- Conduct value engineering studies aligned with client budget requirements for specific projects.
- Maintain ISO-compliant documentation, record keeping, and manage supplier/manufacturer databases.
- Assign draftspersons for quantity take-offs and verify their accuracy.
- Price electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems appropriately.
- Support the compilation of tender submissions.
- Prepare pre-qualification documents, including both standard and project-specific questionnaires.
- Represent the company formally during presentations to customers and work to generate business opportunities.
- Participate in pre-bid and post-bid meetings related to tenders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Prior experience working within an electrical contracting company is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in estimation and design of electrical systems for Industrial, IT park, commercial, or hospital projects.
- Ability to interpret tender-related drawings and specifications effectively.
