Job description
Job Overview
We seek a dedicated Tender Executive proficient in managing both Government and Private tendering workflows, with specialized experience on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal. The role is based in Mohali and requires working from the office for six days each week. The position demands handling end-to-end tender processes, including identifying suitable opportunities, preparing bid documents, submission, and subsequent bid follow-up. Preference will be given to candidates with background in the Furniture, Interior, or Manufacturing sectors.
Responsibilities
- Identify and search for relevant Government and Private tenders actively.
- Manage all tender activities comprehensively through the GeM Portal.
- Prepare, review, and submit all tender/bid documentation before deadlines.
- Gain thorough understanding of tender specifics including eligibility, BOQ, EMD, technical and commercial terms.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather pricing, technical inputs, and other necessary data for bids.
- Keep track of tender progress including corrigendums, bid openings, and outcomes.
- Maintain organized records of submitted bids and tender-related paperwork.
- Monitor and sustain a pipeline of upcoming tender opportunities.
- Communicate effectively regarding clarifications, negotiations, and other tender-related matters.
- Ensure precision and timely delivery of all required tender documents.
Requirements
- Between 1 and 4 years of practical experience in Tendering, Government Procurement, or specifically on the GeM Portal.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal is mandatory.
- Proven expertise in both Government and Private sector tendering processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of tender documentation standards and submission workflows.
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite including Excel.
- Capability to independently manage multiple tenders concurrently.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with prior experience in furniture tendering or relevant industry exposure will be favored.
Additional Information
- Work Location: Mohali office.
- Work Schedule: Six days per week, full-time, on-site.
- Remuneration: Salary up to 25,000 INR per month with an annual compensation package up to 3 LPA.
