About the Role
This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing e-commerce and logistics company operating throughout various African markets. The role focuses on telesales and requires handling inbound and outbound calls to generate and close sales in a target-oriented setting. Candidates must be based in Madina, Accra, Ghana, and available to work onsite Monday through Saturday.
Key Duties
- Conduct inbound and outbound sales calls to potential and current customers.
- Persuasively advise clients using company data to encourage purchases.
- Engage customers effectively via calls and chats.
- Establish and nurture trustworthy relationships to boost customer loyalty and repeat business.
- Consistently follow up on interested leads to finalize sales.
- Meet and surpass sales objectives including revenue and upselling goals.
- Address customer objections professionally, converting challenges into sales.
- Escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity reports.
- Achieve specified call quotas and conversion rates.
- Adhere to sales procedures, scripts, and customer service protocols.
- Actively engage in team meetings, contributing ideas to enhance performance and customer satisfaction.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 6 to 12 months’ experience in telesales.
- Proven sales abilities with confidence engaging and converting leads.
- Excellent verbal communication and persuasion skills.
- Aptitude for negotiation and handling objections effectively.
- Comfortable communicating with customers by phone.
- Good command of English; knowledge of Ghanaian local languages is advantageous.
- Customer-centric mindset with ability to build rapport quickly.
- Commercially driven and motivated by sales targets.
- Experienced using basic computer applications including Microsoft Office.
- Proficient in CRM systems or customer information management tools.
- Capable of independent work as well as team collaboration.
- Reliable, self-driven, and adept at thriving in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Must have access to a functional laptop or PC, noise-cancelling headphones for professional calls, and a stable internet connection.
