About the Market Development Team
The Market Development team acts as a vital engine for driving revenue through diverse channels, including Renewals, High Value Memberships, Hubs, and Retail Centres. United by the spirit of daily sales achievements, this team thrives on delivering results.
Role Overview
As a Product Advisor specializing in retail, you will serve as the main point of contact for customers of Shaadi.com, providing guidance both via phone and at walk-in centres. Your responsibility is to support individuals on their significant journey of finding a life partner by promoting our premium service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Reach out to prospective clients using supplied leads and promote Shaadi.com's premium services.
- Convert free users into paid memberships by adhering to an established sales process.
- Document call interactions, schedule follow-ups, and update call results promptly within the system.
- Persistently follow up with potential clients and monitor conversion rates.
- Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets related to call volume, duration, and revenue.
- Engage and convert walk-in customers by explaining product features when applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer communications and documentation.
- Participate in regular performance evaluations and engage in ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of six months’ experience in telesales or outbound calling roles.
- Ability to sell with a consultative and persuasive approach.
- Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English plus proficiency in at least one Indian language.
- Clear articulation and confident interpersonal presence.
- Energetic, target-driven, and capable of handling pressure resiliently.
