Job description
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technology Analyst specialized in Progress 4GL to join our team at Gurgaon or Pune locations. The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree and possesses 4-7 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Develop and maintain applications using Progress 4GL and OpenEdge versions 10.x and 11.x.
- Manage and utilize Progress databases and application servers efficiently.
- Work with Roundtable and XML technologies to support application architectures.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address technical challenges.
- Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally within technical and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrate eagerness to learn and adopt emerging tools and technologies.
Additional Skills (Preferred)
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for database querying and management.
- Knowledge of database modeling and techniques for query tuning.
- Holding LOMA Insurance certifications is advantageous.
- Experience working on insurance administration products or platforms is a plus.
Qualifications
Engineering degree required.
