Technician

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Technician to join our team in Dubai, responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance on various building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and more. This on-site role involves conducting inspections, troubleshooting faults, carrying out repairs, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards. The Technician will closely collaborate with property management, handle service requests efficiently, maintain thorough documentation, and liaise with external vendors to support operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities on building infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and conduct timely repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety laws, local building codes, and regulatory requirements specific to Dubai.
• Interpret manuals, blueprints, maintenance schedules, and safely operate required tools.
• Communicate effectively with residents and management, providing excellent customer service.
• Track and manage multiple maintenance requests while keeping detailed records and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with vendors and suppliers for equipment servicing and procurement.
• Be available to work on-site including evenings, weekends and handle emergency call-outs as needed.

Candidate Qualifications

• High school diploma is mandatory; preference given to candidates with technical training in MEP, HVAC or related disciplines.
• Experience in maintenance and upkeep of residential or mixed-use properties is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Adequate understanding of safety protocols and regulatory standards applicable in Dubai.
• Competency in reading technical documents such as manuals, plans, and schedules.
• Well-developed communication and customer service skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage various maintenance requests and maintain accurate records.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to support building operations during off-hours and emergencies.
