Role Overview
We are looking for a full-time Technician based in Dubai to perform installation, adjustment, and maintenance of window blinds and curtains at customer locations. This role demands precise measurement-taking, alignment, and smooth functioning of window treatment systems. Responsibilities span site visits, preparation of hardware and materials, safe installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site visits to measure and assess window treatment needs accurately.
- Prepare necessary tools, hardware, and materials for installation tasks.
- Install, adjust, and maintain window blinds and curtains ensuring neat finishes and operational functionality.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues by replacing parts or fixing hardware as required.
- Explain product usage and basic maintenance guidance to clients during installations.
- Support inventory management and assist with workshop preparations as needed.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Technical ability and mechanical skills for measuring, fitting, and installing blinds, curtains, and related hardware.
- Proficient use of hand and power tools, ability to read measurements and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail with commitment to quality workmanship and safety protocols.
- Good customer service aptitude to communicate professionally and understand client requirements.
- Capability to work physically demanding tasks, including lifting, ladder climbing, and working at heights.
- Previous experience in blinds installation, carpentry, interior fit-out or related technical areas preferred.
- Basic English proficiency; additional regional languages advantageous.
- Legal eligibility to work in UAE; possession of a valid driver's license preferred for site travel.
