Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a Technician BFL to join our operations team. This role involves supporting the end-to-end functioning of the blown film extrusion line by executing standard operating procedures and production schedules efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in operating the blown film extrusion machinery in accordance with SOP and production plans.
- Provide support for machine setup including the die, air ring, IBC, screen changer, and winder.
- Continuously monitor film quality parameters such as gauge, width, and visual appearance; promptly report any variances.
- Engage in raw material handling activities such as loading, mixing, and transitions during changeovers.
- Maintain cleanliness, observe safety protocols, and aid in basic troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
- Implement and adhere to 5'S principles and Environmental Health & Safety programs on the shop floor.
- Strive to reduce rejection rates while improving productivity and efficiency at a detailed operational level.
