Job Role

The Technician position located in Doha, Qatar is a full-time, on-premises role. Responsibilities involve installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment and systems associated with the storage, display, and handling of cosmetic goods, adhering strictly to company protocols and safety standards. The technician will carry out regular inspections, diagnose and resolve technical malfunctions, and liaise with suppliers or service partners to guarantee equipment availability and minimize downtime. Additionally, the role requires meticulous documentation of maintenance activities and status updates, alongside clear communication with supervisors and team members about technical requirements and potential enhancements.

Additional Duties

The technician may also assist store or warehouse teams during technical setups, product display arrangements, and equipment upgrades, supporting smooth operational workflows.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical or electrical equipment, preferably within retail or warehouse contexts.
• Skilled in diagnosing equipment faults, interpreting basic technical diagrams, and adhering to manufacturer guidelines and safety regulations.
• Capable of organizing maintenance schedules, recording technical work accurately, and reporting issues clearly.
• Effective collaborator with supervisors, peers, and external service providers through strong communication and teamwork.
• Experience in retail, logistics, or cosmetics distribution is beneficial, with added value for familiarity with beauty products or associated equipment.
• Educational background includes a high school diploma or relevant technical/vocational certification in fields such as electrical, mechanical, or maintenance technologies.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety, reliability, quality standards, and a proactive approach to problem resolution and continuous process improvement.
• Prepared to work on-site in Doha in a dynamic, customer-centric environment.
